Art gali - art for the living

Art-Gali is the brainchild of a young teenager “Anvita Bakshi” who unveiled beautiful and traditional art forms of India to the world.  Showcasing ancient Indian traditional art forms like – Madhubani, Worli, Pattachitra, Gond, Kalamkari, tapestry, etc, done by female village artisans.

Explore details about their history, place of origin, materials used (from nature), time invested, and artisans involved.

An initiative to promote the art and cultural legacy of Indian artists, exhibiting their intricate amazingly adorned canvas to the world. We wish to promote the sale of masters aiding them to earn a better livelihood by bringing historical and magnificent art forms to all.

Our perspective is to promote the sale of Indian art paintings through our website, thus, keeping alive the century’s old art forms of India amongst Gen Z.

Our goal is to strongly empower women and promote the “Sathi hath badhana….” initiative (extend a helping hand…) by selling art done by women, utilizing the profits for education, health & welfare of girls and children.

Our foremost concern is the environment as most of the products used in Indian art paintings are natural and are made of leaves, flowers, cow dung, rice powder, etc. Traditional art forms are done either on handmade paper or canvas made of natural cotton fabric, which is biodegradable and causes no harm to mother earth.
